Service Description

Open Studio time (Teaching for Artistic Behavior) : Come and try out the studio or just pop in when it works for your schedule. $40/1 hr session, $55/2hrs session **Available for Students artist in Gr.4 and up; 18+adults are welcome too** There is no formal step by step teaching. This is a Students artist self directed learning studio time. 8 max students artist per hour, students work on individual projects to build their own art portfolio with the help and guidance from our art instructor. During the 1 hr or 2hrs session: 1) Students can pick our artwork sample or bring/search up a picture reference 2) Teachers guide students how to use the materials and the art technique available that day 3) Student artist works on the project. *** Art instructors are in a Mentor role to guide young artists to achieve their own artistic goal *** ------ TAB classes (open studio), students experience the visual arts as artists responsible for their learning. Following introductions to available media, student artists advance their individual artistic processes through exploration and discovery, inquiry and ideation, skill development and art making, reflection and revision, self-evaluation. TAB classrooms are highly structured studio environments with clearly delineated expectations for self-directed learning in choices of varied work spaces. Available tools and art materials are introduced to students who can then access and arrange these materials independently to initiate and explore their artwork. Open studio-TAB station is varies based on that day. Includes and not limited to: Pencil shading drawing, watercolor, painting, printmaking, lego stop motion animation, digital art painting, etc. Please note: 1) There is no water fountain on site. Cancelation Policy

For classes, 1) No refund once enrollment is confirmed and fees are paid. Fees paid cannot be transferred to another person. 2) In case of sickness, must-attend events or other special circumstances, a make-up lesson could be arranged if a proof document is presented 24 hours prior to the lesson via email (art.tent.class@gmail.com). 3) Each semester (8 sessions course) can schedule ONE make-up lesson only. All make up lessons must be taken within Two Months from the date of absence. For Art camp, tuition is non-refundable and no tuition refunds are made for absences. An administration Fee of USD$20 might be charged for any change of course date or time. For Events, 1) No refund once booking is confirmed. An administration Fee of USD$20 might be charged for any change of events date or time. 2) In case of sickness or other special circumstances, scheduled event can be rescheduled One time. Rescheduling must be made within two months from the date of the cancellation.
