Meet Ms.Vivian
Hello! My name is Vivian. I am the birthday party instructor at Art Tent Studio. I was born in Hong Kong and moved to Hawaiʻi during high school, later earning my B.S. in Marine Biology from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. I now work in marine biology–related conservation education, and have over 10 years of experience working with children.
My Story
I have always loved drawing since my childhood. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed exploring different art mediums, often inspired by the ocean, forests, and the small critters that live there. Scientific illustrations especially fuel my creativity, and I love bringing nature to life through drawing.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me out exploring: tidepooling, diving, snorkeling, paddling, or walking trails (Kaʻena Point is my favorite so far!). I also enjoy ice skating, sewing, crafting, and spending time with friends and family. And if you have got fun & crazy stories, I would love to hear them!
